Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 9, 2026
Voxenger is operated by Quantivant Holdings Inc ("Voxenger," "we," "us," or "our"), a company registered in the State of Georgia, United States. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Voxenger website, mobile applications, and services (together, the "Service"), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Service.
1. Summary of the important points
- We collect what we need to give you a phone number, connect your calls and messages, and run your account.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.
- All categories of sharing in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. We may share SMS opt-in or consent status only with platform providers, phone companies, and vendors who assist in delivering the text messages.
- Your conversations belong to you. We do not read them to build advertising profiles.
- In-app member chat is designed so that message content is end-to-end encrypted on devices; we store and transmit ciphertext for those messages, not plaintext, and we do not hold your private keys. See section 4B.
- If you tap an AI button (Reply, Rewrite, or Translate), that content is sent to Google's Vertex AI solely to generate a suggestion or translation. Google does not use it to train its models, we do not store the content beyond what is needed to provide the feature, and nothing is sent on your behalf. Choosing AI is like inviting our AI system into that exchange. See section 4A.
- Information you choose to put on your public profile is public. Everything else is not.
- You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account at any time.

2.4 Contacts
If you grant permission, the app may access your device address book so you can find and reach people. Contact details are used to enable this feature and are not sold, rented, or used for advertising. You can revoke this permission in your device settings at any time.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- Create and administer your account and assign your phone number.
- Place, route, and deliver your calls and messages.
- Display your public profile and content to the people you share it with.
- Help members find each other on the Service using discovery keys you choose to provide — such as username, display name, your assigned Voxenger number, and a personal mobile number you optionally verify and link.
- Process subscriptions, payments, and renewals.
- Send you service communications — SMS one-time passwords (OTP) and account-verification codes after you opt in, plus security alerts, delivery failures, billing notices, and changes to these terms.
- Provide customer support.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, spam, abuse, and violations of our Acceptable Use Policy.
- Maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Service.
- Comply with legal obligations, including telecommunications record-keeping and lawful requests.
- Provide optional AI features you choose to use — AI Reply, AI Rewrite, and AI Translate — as described in section 4A.
We do not use the content of your private messages or calls to target advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.
Legal bases (for users in the EEA and UK)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (to provide the Service you signed up for), legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention, and service improvement), consent (where required, such as optional device permissions or marketing email), and legal obligation.
4. Text messaging (SMS and MMS)
This section describes how we handle messaging data and SMS consent. It applies in addition to the rest of this policy. The SMS program brand is Voxenger, operated by Quantivant Holdings Inc. These disclosures also appear in our Terms of Use (Section 2A) and Messaging Terms.
Program. We send SMS to a personal mobile number you provide only for one-time password (OTP) and account verification, and related account-security notices about that verification. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages. If you have an assigned Voxenger number, messages you compose and send to people you choose are your communications and are described below.
Consent. SMS consent is collected with a separate, unchecked checkbox on the public sign-up page at voxenger.com/signup, on the public sign-in screen, and on “Use my phone number” / “Link your own number” screens. It is not bundled with agreeing to the Terms of Use. The checkbox states:
I agree to receive SMS from Voxenger for OTP and account verification. Message frequency may vary. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. We do not sell or share your mobile information with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.
You may use the Service without providing a mobile number (for example by signing in with Google or Apple). Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of purchase.
Message frequency. Message frequency may vary. OTP messages are sent when you request a verification code.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier may charge you for messages you send and receive.
Opting out. Reply STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, or OPTOUT to any Voxenger message to stop receiving messages from us at that number. You will receive a single confirmation that you have been unsubscribed and that no further messages will be sent. Reply START, UNSTOP, or YES to resume. Reply HELP or INFO for assistance, or email support@voxenger.com.
Customer care. support@voxenger.com — Quantivant Holdings Inc, 3372 Peachtree Road Northeast, Atlanta, GA 30326, United States.
Carrier disclaimer. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
How we share messaging data.
Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.
We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that campaign. We may share your Personal Data, including your SMS opt-in or consent status, with third parties that help us provide our messaging services, including but not limited to platform providers, phone companies, and any other vendors who assist us in the delivery of text messages.
All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Messages you send. Messages you compose and send to your own recipients are your communications. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to contact those recipients and for honouring their opt-out requests. See our Acceptable Use Policy.
4A. Optional AI features (Reply, Rewrite, Translate)
Voxenger offers optional AI features:
- AI Reply — a suggested reply to a conversation;
- AI Rewrite — a rewrite of a draft you have typed;
- AI Translate — a translation of a recent incoming message.
This section explains exactly what that involves.
Voxenger uses end-to-end encryption to protect messages while they are in transit between devices, preventing interception by third parties during delivery. This encryption is separate from any on-device AI features, such as AI-assisted reply suggestions, which process message content locally after it has already been securely delivered to your device. If AI reply, AI rewrite, or AI translate features require server-side processing, message content may be transmitted to our servers or third-party AI providers solely for the purpose of generating a suggested response or translation, and is not stored beyond what is necessary to provide that feature. Choosing to use the AI rewrite, AI reply, or AI translate feature is the equivalent of the user actively inviting an additional participant, our AI system, into that specific message exchange, similar to adding a member to a group conversation. This feature is optional and is only activated when the user chooses to use it.
Nothing happens unless you ask. The features run only when you tap the button (Reply, Rewrite, or Translate). We do not process your conversations to generate suggestions or translations in the background, and we do not analyse your messages for any other purpose.
What is sent. When you tap Reply or Rewrite we send, to Google's Vertex AI service: up to the last twenty messages in that one conversation (or the decrypted excerpts you supply when the thread is end-to-end encrypted); up to five of your own recent messages from the same conversation, so the suggestion sounds like you; a short description of your writing style derived from them; and, if you asked for a rewrite, the draft you typed. When you tap Translate we send the text of that one message and your preferred language. Long messages are shortened before they are sent. Nothing from your other conversations, your contacts, or your profile is included unless needed for that request.
Where it is processed. These requests go to Google's global Vertex AI endpoint, which means one may be handled in a Google data centre outside the United States. This is the exception to Section 11.
What Google may do with it. Under Google Cloud's terms for Vertex AI, your content is not used to train Google's models. Google processes the request to produce the suggestion or translation, and may retain it for a limited period for security and abuse prevention, as set out in those terms. Google acts as our processor and may not use your content for its own purposes.
Nothing is sent on your behalf. A suggestion is placed in your message box for you to edit, replace, or delete. A translation is shown to you. You send a message, or you do not. The feature never sends a message for you.
What we keep. We record that a request was made, on what day, which feature it was, and how many tokens it used, so that we can meter the feature. We do not store the conversation content that was sent, or the suggestion or translation that came back, beyond what is necessary to return the response. Those usage records contain no message text and are kept for as long as your account exists.
Messages from people who are not Voxenger members. Your Voxenger number receives ordinary text messages from people who have no Voxenger account, have never read this policy, and have never agreed to anything. If you use AI in a conversation with one of them, their messages included in that request are sent to Google along with your own. They are not notified, they cannot opt out, and they have no way to know it happened. That decision is yours, and you make it each time you tap the button.
Turning it off. If you never tap the buttons, nothing is ever sent for AI. Write to support@voxenger.com if you need further help.
4B. End-to-end encryption for in-app chat
For in-app messages between Voxenger members, devices generate identity keys and prekeys locally. Only public keys and public prekeys are uploaded to our systems (for example Firebase) so that another member can start a secure session. Private keys remain on your device.
When you send an in-app message, it is encrypted on your device using the Signal Protocol (X3DH key agreement and the Double Ratchet) before it is written to our databases. Recipients decrypt on their devices. Firebase and our backends are designed to store and transmit ciphertext for those messages — not plaintext message content and not private keys.
Push notifications for end-to-end encrypted chat are intended to avoid carrying plaintext message bodies. Conversation list previews for encrypted threads may show a generic label rather than the cleartext of the last message when only ciphertext is available server-side.
SMS/MMS and legacy plaintext. Carrier SMS/MMS and any older plaintext records are not covered by this end-to-end design. Metadata such as participants, timestamps, and delivery status may still be processed to operate the Service.
5. When we share information
We share personal information only in the situations below.
Other users. Your public profile, display name, profile photo, posts, and any content you publish are visible to others. Your assigned Voxenger number is shown to the people you call or message, in the same way any phone number is. If you optionally verify and link a personal mobile number, other members may also find your account by searching that number on the Service (in addition to finding you by username, display name, or Voxenger number). Linking a personal number does not make Voxenger the carrier for that line, and it is not used as the outbound caller ID or SMS “From” number on the public telephone network when you have a Voxenger number.
Service providers. We use vendors to run the Service — cloud hosting and databases, telecommunications carriers and messaging providers, payment processors, push notification delivery, analytics, customer support tooling, and the AI provider described in section 4A. They receive only what they need, are bound by contract, and may not use your data for their own purposes.
Legal and safety. We may disclose information where we reasonably believe it is required by law, subpoena, warrant, or court order, or where necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Voxenger, our users, or the public, or to investigate fraud or abuse.
Business transfers. If Voxenger is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you and this policy will continue to apply until superseded.
With your direction. Where you ask us to share information, for example by connecting an integration.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
6. Data retention
We keep information for as long as your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the Service.
- Account and profile data: retained until you delete your account, then removed within 30 days except where retention is legally required.
- Communications metadata: retained as required for billing, dispute resolution, and telecommunications record-keeping obligations, typically 24 months.
- Message content: retained while your account is active so you can access your conversation history, and deleted with your account.
- Billing records: retained for the period required by tax and accounting law, typically 7 years.
- AI writing-assistance records: the count of requests and tokens used, containing no message text, kept while your account exists.
- Diagnostic logs: our servers keep operational logs to troubleshoot delivery problems, and for an incoming text message those logs can include the message itself. They are deleted automatically after 30 days.
- Backups: deleted data may persist in encrypted backups for a limited period before being overwritten.
7. Security
We protect information using encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest for stored data, access controls limiting employee access to what is necessary, authentication through established identity providers, and monitoring for unusual activity.
No system is perfectly secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
8. Your rights and choices
Regardless of where you live, you can:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information, most of it directly in your account settings.
- Delete your account and associated personal information.
- Export a copy of your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw permissions such as contacts, microphone, camera, and notifications, in your device settings.
- Opt out of marketing email using the unsubscribe link. Service messages relating to your account will continue.
Delete account or data: open voxenger.com/delete-account, or go to Profile → Account Center → Privacy → Delete account or data on web, Android or iOS. The same public page works without the app installed. Sign in, verify your identity, choose your account or only saved posts and likes, then enter the confirmation. Saved-post references and likes are removed through the self-service flow; your account, published posts, messages, contacts and order history remain. Full-account requests are tracked for the privacy team to complete within 30 days, subject to the retention requirements in Section 6. A pending account request can be cancelled before processing starts.
Complete or cancel open orders and bookings first, including orders where you are the seller. Any payment, refund or payout must also be settled. Deletion does not cancel transactions. Manage recurring subscriptions through the store where you purchased them; this does not prevent you from submitting an account-deletion request. Copies already delivered to other people may remain on their devices.
For account-access problems or other privacy rights, email support@voxenger.com. Include your account email or username and the action requested; never send a password or verification code. We verify identity before acting and respond within the time required by law.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
You have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; the right to delete it; the right to correct it; and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. The categories we collect and our purposes are described in Sections 2 and 3. You may designate an authorised agent to submit a request on your behalf.
EEA and UK residents
In addition to the rights above, you may object to or restrict processing based on legitimate interests, and you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Where we transfer data outside your region, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
9. Children
Voxenger is not intended for children. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, because the Service assigns a telephone number and involves a paid subscription. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete the account and the associated information. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact support@voxenger.com.
10. Cookies and similar technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and keep the site secure. We also use limited analytics to understand how the Service is used and to fix problems. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking for behavioural advertising. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies, though the Service may not function correctly without the necessary ones.
11. International users
Voxenger is operated from the United States. If you use the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection law may differ from that of your country. By using the Service you understand that this transfer takes place.
One exception: requests to the AI writing assistant described in Section 4A go to a global Google endpoint and may be processed outside the United States.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service evolves or the law changes. If changes are material, we will notify you by email or through the Service before they take effect. The effective date at the top always reflects the current version.
